Welcome to Sainte-Sabine en Dordogne, 3* gîte in the hear of the Périgord Noir - Dordogne

3* Sainte-Sabine gîte is located in Castels, within walking distance to the medieval village of Saint-Cyprien, famous for its magnificent 12th-century abbey church and its weekly vibrant Sunday morning market (voted "Best Outdoors Market in the Dordogne").

Saint-Cyprien offers all amenities, including restaurants, bars, pizzerias, farm shops, 2 boulangeries, a butcher, fromagerie, 2 supermarkets, and other local shops... all within a 15 mn stroll.

Sarlat is only 20 mn away, or 15 minutes by train from Saint-Cyprien station (5 mn walk). The castles of Les Milandes (former home of Josephine Baker), Beynac, and Castelnaud are just a 10 mn drive away. Lascaux-Montignac is just 40 mn.

Wild swimming and canoeing in the Dordogne River with its river beaches is only 4 mn away.

Our gîte, which sleeps up to 6, includes:

  • ground floor: a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a lounge (with TV)

  • upstairs: 1 master bedroom with king size bed (160x200) and 1 family bedroom king size bed (160x200) and two twin beds (90x200), as well as a bathroom with shower, basin and toilet

  • free Wi-Fi access

There is parking for up to 2 cars, a private terrace with gas BBQ, with direct access to the 10m x 5m salt-water swimming pool (open from June 1st to September 30th), as well as the orchard and the small forest.

Sainte-Sabine has been classified 3 stars by the Office de Tourisme de la Dordogne.

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets and electric car charging is not permitted on site (several charging stations are available in Saint-Cyprien)
